Mixing and production are both an art form and a science, and I can honestly say that my good friend Pape Armand Boye has mastered both. It takes someone with all the right technical skills, a good pair of ears and a lot of experience. You need to understand the artist and the song, have an overview, bring out the strongest parts and intensify them, and that to me he has perfected.
